American = US?[edit]

This template currently contains programs and organizations in the United States (although SIAM is now more of an international organization). Given that Wikipedia aims to provide a world-wide view, I suggest either expanding this template to include more North and South American institutions, or changing the name to "Mathematics in the United States". As examples of things to add, North American organizations/institutions/programs include the Fields Institute, Centre de Recherches Mathématiques, Banff International Research Station, the CRM-Fields-PIMS prize, and Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences. South American organizations the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas, Brazilian Mathematical Society, and Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada. --Blueclaw (talk) 20:01, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
