Yes, but this isn't. If this policy comes into being then people can choose either to spend a year in the military or spend a weekend a month on community service. However, it's not really relevant here: if Sunak really wanted this he would've made a bigger deal of it earlier. Are we going to report on the entire Conservative manifesto in this biography?
