Marxist[edit]

He was a marxist professor of literature, and he def. understood his work to be in this line - will try to find a source for this, but there can be no doubt about it. Größerer Versuch über den Schmutz: I liked it a lot (must say I have read it in the 1980s), but did it create such an uproar in Germany?
