Hi, can someone elaborate on the things included in the banner? Other than the "sources needed" part, it's not clear to me what the points in the banner refer to (e.g. how do I know the author has a conflict of interest, which parts in the text are marked as grammatically incorrect, etc.) Marmun-King (talk) 14:23, 27 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I would've seconded that, but I discovered by myself instead.

Looking at the history of the article, the first few edits were made by "CPPE Editor" who only edited this article (CPPE the abreviation of the article subject).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Cppeeditor
So the creator of the article was clearly involved or connected with CPPE.
It seems to me the subject is not necessarily not notable, but I have some doubts.
It's currently an orphan so I included a mention of the center in University of Manchester #Faculty of Biology Medicine and Health which I think is reasonable. I wonder if there are any other places this could be bluelinked from.

I've noticed quite a few editors of this page have no edits outside of this page including User:Marmun-King, User talk:Rahul unKaidhodi. Very weird.--User:Dwarf Kirlston - talk 00:45, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That's because this was offered as one of the pages to edit for people just starting out on Wikipedia, which is why the banner contents were confusing to me. Marmun-King (talk) 01:53, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
ahhh, maybe that explains it, welcome to wikipedia then :).
The problem with the Conflict Of Interest will disappear I believe once it's been edited enough, changed from the version posted by CCPEeditor.
Sources are a really good way to do that - finding sourced material and including that information - taking out information that's not sourced from CPPEeditor's version.
I wonder if you could link me to that page recommending this page for beginners? I haven't found it through google.
